SAMPLE SALE - Terms & Conditions

But what the hell's a sample sale?!

 

Glad you asked. Brands often do sample sales to clean out their warehouse/office, make room for new product, and give customers the opportunity to get their hands on unique one-off products that were possibly never produced for mass retail. "Samples" are the term used for prototypes in development of a product. Brands sample prototypes in a "sample" size of their choice. In footwear, this is anywhere from a size 5 to size 7. Charla Tedrick samples all shoes in size 7, which is the reason most of the products in our sample sale are size 7. (If you're a size 7, it's your lucky day. If you're not, snag something for your sample-size-footed-friend!) We will always specify in the product description if the product runs true to size, larger or smaller than standard. Samples will also come in a variety of conditions. We will never sell a product that is not wearable, safe and comfortable; But samples are not necessarily perfect and we will always give transparent and true descriptions of the product we are selling. Please read product descriptions carefully before placing your order and keep in mind that price is usually reflective of condition. Never hesitate to reach out and send us a question. We're happy to assist you!

 

  • All sample sale products are described to reflect true and real condition of shoe. Sample sale products may be offered in a variety of conditions including duplicate samples, approved but never produced, marketing/photoshoot samples or rejections due to minor manufacturing defects which will be described. Please read product descriptions carefully and note that price is reflective of condition of shoe. 

 

  • All sample sale products are eligible for refund or exchange for store credit within 5 days of receiving. Products will not be approved for refund or exchange if contact with Charla Tedrick has not been made by email regarding the desire to return/exchange within the 5 day period. For returns or exchanges, please fill out the return or exchange form found under RETURN & EXCHANGES on our website and note that all requirements remain the same (unworn condition, etc). Please note that shipping will not be refunded for returns or exchanges and the return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer.

 

  • All sample sale products are sold without shoebox. 

 

 

ORDERING

Upon placing an order, a receipt is automatically emailed confirming purchase intent. This receipt does not constitute a contract, and orders may be canceled at any time due to inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrectly priced item, insufficient stock, or any other reason, as we see fit. Please note that Charla Tedrick shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders, whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged and your order is canceled, Charla Tedrick shall issue a refund to your credit card account for the amount you paid. 

Charla Tedrick reserves the right to amend content of the site at any time. Charla Tedrick will always strive to keep all of the information on the site as accurate as possible, including images and pricing, but errors can occur.

Charla Tedrick reserves the right to cancel any order prior to shipping, should we find an error in pricing.

Orders cannot be canceled once they've been placed and processed. If you decide against your purchase for whatever reason, you can return your product for exchange for store credit or for a refund once product is returned and received. Refunds and exchanges must be handled within 14 days of receiving product. Full priced items are eligible for refund, exchange or store credit. Discounted or marked down products are eligible for exchange or store credit only.

 

 

PAYMENTS + PRICING

We accept most major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover credit card payments as well as PayPal payments.

We do not accept personal checks, tradesies, money orders, IOU's, direct bank transfers, baby English Bulldogs or selfies.

...Actually, maybe baby English Bulldogs, let's discuss.

 

 

EXCHANGE RATE

Your order will be charged in USD and converted by whatever payment type you paid with at the exchange rate they designate. If you wanna know what the exchange rate is before you buy contact your credit card company. For general exchange rates check out this http://www.xe.com/.

 

 

SALES TAX

Sales tax will be automatically added at checkout to all applicable states.

 

 

CUSTOMS FEES

Any local taxes and duties for shipping are not included in your checkout price. These vary by country and are collected on behalf of your home country at time of delivery. This fee is in no way associated with Charla Tedrick and is the responsibility of the customer.

 

 

SHIPPING + DELIVERY

  • Orders are processed Monday - Friday, excluding federal holidays. 
  • We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed by the carrier.
  • All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days from the time the order is placed. We are closed on weekends. 
  • Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, please be patient as there are delays with carriers that are out of our control.
  • Please remember that the shipping time clock starts after the order has been processed (within 2-3 business days) regardless of shipping method selected. 
  • Tracking numbers are updated when shipments are picked up at the end of the day. If you have not received an email with a tracking number within 2 business days of placing your order, feel free to contact us at customerservice@charlatedrick.com.

 

SHIPPING/PROCESSING TIME

We no longer offer expedited shipping. We do our very best to process and dispatch all orders within 2-3 days of order date.

Charla Tedrick is not responsible for lost, stolen or items returned to sender by the courier. By confirming your information in checkout, you are in agreement that the shipping information you provided is correct. Shipping address information can not be changed after order is placed. 

 

Domestic Shipments

We proudly offer free shipping on all domestic orders over $175. Orders under $175 are a $10 flat rate shipping fee regardless of location (within the United States).  

International Shipments

*PLEASE NOTE -- EFFECTIVE 12/9/20 WE NO LONGER OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. Information included on the website for international shipping is applicable to all orders placed earlier than 12/9/20. 

  • ALL APPLICABLE CUSTOMS FEES, TAXES AND DUTIES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES REQUIRE THAT WE STATE THE VALUE OF THE ORDER DIRECTLY ON YOUR PACKAGE. IT IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF CUSTOMS AGENTS TO RELEASE YOUR PACKAGE.
  • If you refuse your shipment or are unable to retrieve your package, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees, duties or taxes that are incurred, and the cost of the returning the package to Charla Tedrick. The amount will be deducted from your refund along with a $10 restocking fee. In the instance that the return fee exceeds the amount of your order, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.

 

GIFT CARDS + STORE CREDIT

If you are using store credit, enter your store credit code at checkout. Once you are done shopping, enter your code on your cart page and hit "apply" to see your revised ammount due.

What types of payments do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Afterpay and most major credit cards including:

Can I change or cancel an order I just placed?

::Womp Womp:: Unfortunately, we can't change orders that are placed and processing. But if you've ordered an item by mistake you'll be able to return it for a refund or store credit. Full priced items are eligible for refund within 14 days of purchase. Discounted or marked down products are eligible for store credit if returned within 14 days of purchase. 

 

I have a store credit, how do I use it?

When you're done shopping and have come to your cart, you will have the option to enter a code. If you were emailed a store credit code or are using a discount code, enter it on your cart page and hit apply. You'll see your total price adjusted as your heart skips a beat! You can use multiple codes at once, as long as you enter them one at a time.

 

SHIPPING

How much is shipping and how long does it generally take?

It completely depends on where you live. Transit times vary by country and shipping service. Please scroll up to check out our shipping details. 
+ Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and handling. Orders are processed Monday - Friday, excluding some federal holidays.  
+ We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages or packages delayed by the carrier. So, keep a watchful eye on your mailman. (And contact us if you have a problem)  
+ All international orders are subject to customs fees determined by their countries regulations.

 

How do I track my order?

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, and another once it's pulled and preparing to ship which will include a tracking number. If you don't receive tracking within 5 days of placing your order, hit us up and let's figure that sh*t out. 

 

Got my package but there's a fee. WTF?

If your shipping address is outside of the US you might have to pay customs fees when your package is delivered. Customs fees are determined by your country, are not included in any payment you made to Charla Tedrick, and they're rough as f*ck. Unfortunately, it comes with the territory in shipping internationally. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for the dirty details. If you refuse a shipment you are responsible for the original shipping charges, duties and the cost of returning the package to Charla Tedrick. This amount will be deducted from your store credit.  If you were charged for an order you got and you live in the US, there has definitely been an error. Please contact us to get it all squared away.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

 Can I return something I bought?

 Absofreakinlutely. We accept returns/exchanges for unused full priced items in their original packaging within 14 days of receiving product. Send back your item with your Product Return/Exchange form completed and included in package... and don't forget to shoot us an email at customerservice@charlatedrick.com to let us know your package is en route back to us. As soon as we receive your return, you'll get a confirmation email with your store credit, or notification of your refund in progress. Make sure to ship your shoes back in the shoebox, with the shoebox packed inside a shipping box. Any shoes shipped only in the shoebox will be charged a penalty fee and ain't NOBODY got time for THAT!

 What will I get for my return?

Fast and furious resolution, that's what! Once we get your returned goods, we'll send you a confirmation email with your store credit info or your notification of refund, whichever you selected in the paperwork you sent with the returned product. Once you get that e-mail, you're good to go! If opting for store credit, just apply your store credit discount code at checkout and get down with your bad self!

 

 Do you offer price adjustments for past sales?

Sorry, duder. We don't offer price adjustments. Aside from VIP pricing privileges, styles will be sold at full retail value except in special circumstances. Every style released by Charla Tedrick is limited edition, produced once and only once (with the exception of special occasions or promotions). You gotta strike while the iron's hot, ma! When you see a style you can't live without, better snag it before it's sold out and never to be found again. You don't wanna be surfing Poshmark with your ISO tag crying yourself to sleep every night, do you?

I saw an item on the site and I'm obsessed, how can I find it?

The "Search and Destroy" tab at the bottom of the page, as well as the magnifying glass at top right will pull up any product you are looking for after you type in the first few letters of the name (or even something roughly in the same vein). If an item you had seen in the past is no longer showing up on the site, it's sold out, and you done f*cked up! Don't let it happen again! With all styles classified as "limited edition", you're dancing with the devil if you don't act fast!

SIZE GUIDE

If you are unsure on what size to order, check the chart below for reference. Each shoe product description also mentions whether the fit is "true to size", "runs small" or "runs large". Customer Service can also provide sizing and fit suggestions specific to style. Please reach out to support@charlatedrick.com. AND Let's hear it for the boys!
